The human Y chromosome: BAC sequences from the AZFc palindromic complex

The sequences in this directory accompany the paper:
Tomoko Kuroda-Kawaguchi, Helen Skaletsky, Laura G. Brown, Patrick J. Minx, Holland S. Cordum, Robert H. Waterston, Richard K. Wilson, Sherman Silber, Robert Oates, Steve Rozen & David C. Page. The human Y chromosome's AZFc region features massive palindromes, uniform recurrent deletions, and testis gene families. 2001, Submitted for publication.

Each file corresponds to a single BAC sequenced at the Washington University Genome Sequencing Center as part of a collaboration between the Human Chromosome Y Mapping Project at the Whitehead Institute and the Washington University Genome Sequencing Center, St. Louis. Overlaps between adjacent BACs in the tiling path have not been trimmed. All clones are from the RPCI-11 BAC library.

All BACs are finished except 0059C12, 0189B16, 0322J01, 0226N11, 0141N04, 0535B09, 0354H19, and 0079J10.
